The primary work of this maintenance has been completed, and some non-disruptive work and monitoring will continue for an additional 8-10 hours. No further disruption is anticipated at this time, and all connectivity, including the capability to create and modify VNFs, should be restored.

This maintenance has been extended and will now complete at 6pm EST. There should however be no further traffic disruption, and we are on track to enable VNFs creation/modification by 12 pm EST.

During this maintenance window, Equinix will upgrade the underlying infrastructure platform that powers Network Edge instances. This work is being performed to improve product performance, prepare for new features and increase resiliency of the infrastructure.

The maintenance window for this upgrade is 45 hours, during which individual Network Edge VNF instances may lose connectivity for up to 3 hours and require at least one reboot. Non-HA customers can expect to lose service during this event, while customers with highly-available (HA) instance deployments can expect to lose service for up to a total of 20 minutes.
