Identified - On March 30th at 15:19 UTC, a fire in SP4 affected the dark fiber provider cage, causing a dark fiber link outage. This incident has impacted the Equinix Fabric circuits and virtual connections (VC) with OCI and GCP, resulting in service downtime. Equinix resolved the issue by switching the affected CSP circuits to another path, restoring services by 20:56 UTC on the same day. The service has been stable since then. The next step is to schedule the circuits' switch back to the original path.

They have shot the OTDR and are are currently 'walking the line' to find the reported impairment.
